Pocono Quail Farm is located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Back in the year 2000 we decided raising quail would be an interesting and enjoyable hobby. After a great deal of research and planning, we purchased our first eggs. It has turned out to be all and more than we had ever hoped it would be.
As we grew and learned, we added additional species. We specialize only in quail. We offer 4 species at this time: valley quail, gambel quail, blue scale quail, and mountain quail.
We are growing at a steady pace and offer quality eggs and birds. Customer satisfaction is our number 1 priority. It would give us great pleasure to add you to our satisfied customer list.
In 2009 we have started to concentrate our efforts on mountain quail and mearns/montezuma quail. We have introduced a new diet for mearns quail that greatly increases productivity and fertility. Fall of 2009 we received a wild caught male mearns. It appears to be the first new blood for this species in 28 years.
We are working closely with The Center for the Study of Tropical Birds to introduce into the United States new species of tropical quail from Central and South America.
